Nature-Mother Gaia

We all get into the ruts of taking things for granted, and one that comes to mind today is Nature/Earth/ Gaia. Nature is stimulating from many perspectives: physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually, etc. Nature is beautiful in so many unbelievable ways, but how often do we take time to understand and appreciate how much it is apart of our lives? For most of us, not very often (self included).

The tree of life
Nature affects all of us in each day that we live on this planet, and makes you feel like you are a part of something bigger than life:  The pure taste of water as we catch snowflakes on our tongues, the elegant visual of autumn leaves turning color, the beaming spring sun that we feel warming our bodies, the distinguished sound of summer cicadas we hear cuddled up in bed at night, the smell of early dew poised on the grass after rainfall, the cool wind that blows our hair and nourishes our soul.

Nature helps me forget about materialistic objects that we have in our modern world and helps me to not only focus, but to dwell on all that is simplistic, meaningful, and important. I think we should try to take a little more time out of our lives to be thankful for Mother Gaia and all that she has given us. Maybe if we follow and appreciate nature more, we will be happier and healthier in a more spiritual sense.

Divorce

I'm terrified of the future
How our lives shape the past
Let's not break another suture
All I want is to last
-
Premature becomes doubtfullness
Everyday a hassle
This red burden overtakes bliss
Cant bring back the bashful
-
The world is lost, will I conform?
The failure makes me ill
Conscience lost, a struggling storm
Divorce is now a thrill
-
Our lustfullness, it hurts the youth
Très chic, its seems to be
Our kids grow up without the truth
Your soul, left with debris
-
I wont take my seat in wasteland
Empowered I become
Whatever it takes, make my stand
Through it all, not just some
-
Rip the plug and fall to your knees
They wont last, they are weak
You become nothing but a tease
Loves lost, its hit its peak.

Love is but Dreaming, Refrain from Screaming

The pain and agony of self defeat. Meant to reoccur, meant to repeat.

It creeps behind you and rips you from the neck. Eating you from the inside, a tear-infested wreck.

All you ever knew, and hoped for to last, faded away to nothing, but a memory of the past.

Give to me a demon or death to fight I plead, but please don't tell me to find love, because this is an unachievable deed.

There's more luck in ending world hunger or becoming the pope, but when it comes to everlasting love, there's clearly no hope.

Young and ignorant in my years I will give you, I'm no fool, but to love someone for a lifetime is just another meant to be broken rule.

Why waste my dying years on this world looking for someone that suffices, when love will prove to die, just as any out dated devices.

The worlds proven to me that life is portrayed as an independent dream, and that free will is just a hallucination crushed with a hopeless scream.

Self defeat is to be accepted and learned, to understand the aspects of this world of pain. You can try to juggle and hold onto you're achievements, but there's nothing you will gain,

It's best to just live in the moment, to overlook the subconscious repressed pain. If you're looking for love or meaning, you'd be better off to refrain.

Lost at Sea

As I step upon the night sky ship, from thick within itself,
I ask myself--how long until it sinks, how long, not long.
Outside walls structured of paintless faces, steadfast to none,
Though seeping within, lay a thousand broken souls.
-
Waters shove, not a care upon the fierce sea,
Not a thought, nor a listen, definitely not one care.
Best be the captain, upon this ship, the best in all the sea,
But strike a match in the sea of kerosene, the best in all the land.
-
All is gone, nothing left, existence none, shown no theft,
Stumbling and falling, falling upon one's own excitement
Empty words, so many of which, bring such meaning to all,
Meaningful words, so many of which, bring such empty words.
-
For I talk backwards, and talk with meaning.
I fall into the wicked depths of ocean.
I can't swim, nor captain a ship.
I never paint my face,
I always paint my face,
I don't like painting my face.
